Look 6010121400 KEO 2 Max White provides a more efficient and more comfortable pedal stroke, with a cleat contact surface area 12 percent larger than the Kéo Carbon. To further improve the transfer of power and to longevity of the pedal, this surface area is made of stainless steel molded directly into the pedal body. At a mere 130 grams, the Kéo 2 MAX is one of the lightest pedals in its category. This has been achieved through the use of a carbon injection process allowing for weight reduction and improved durability. Particular attention was focused on reliability and provided through features such as: a carbon injected pedal body, a stainless steel cleat contact area, an oversized axle with dual seals, making this a pedal built to last. The new line of Kéo 2 MAX pedals maintains a low cleat contact height even with the use of a steel oversize axle. The pedal is built with two miniature ball bearings (12mm inner x 18mm outer diameters) and a needle roller bearing. LOOK axles are only approved once they have survived a million cycles at 100 revolutions per minute with a 90kg (198lbs) load at the center of the pedal and an eccentric rotation (replicating a bump each revolution). This test largely surpasses current standards (reference NF EN 14781). Dual seals increase bearing longevity.

My first clipless pedal was Look Keo classics, which I purchased with my new road bike several years back. They were a great entry into clipless pedals, with easy engagement/disengagement, nice float, and secure fit. In a recent tune-up, I was told that the bearings on these pedals were wearing, and the shop recommended replacement. They suggest going with Shimano. However, my experience with Look KEO's have been so good, that I wanted to stay with Look. In my research, I gravitated towards the Keo 2 Max, and got a very good price on Amazon. They have been on my bike for the last 3 weeks, and so far they are every bit as comfortable as my classics. They actually provide a little better platform due to the wider pedal body. If these last as long as my classics did, I will be very happy. I ordered the white ones, which look pretty damn cool on my black carbon fiber bike.

I bike a lot but never got good pedals. So I looked all over the internet and everyone is raving about the Kéo2 max. Fit them on my new carbon bike and whow! Love them!

I have 2 pair of these myself and I am buying a pair for a friend so I can prove to him they are better then lolly pops that is how much I like these pedals. Everyone should own them.
