Most comfortable pedal while riding. I have used most all of the styles of pedals available and these are the most comfortable. Speedplays are way easier to clip in and out of, but my feet never cramp with these 105 pedals. They are same as ultegra but barely heavier so don't waste your time on ultegras, the dur-ace have an extra bearing and are smoother but crazy expensive. Hope this helps

Obviously the quality is top notch - that's SHIMANO. If you ride MTB you will notice that you will have a harder time clipping into these compared to your MTB clipless. That's due to only one availabe "face" versus both sides on an MTB clipless. Also, they are not evenly balanced like the MTB clipless so when not in use the rear (black plastic part) "hangs" down which, again, makes it harder to get a smooth clip-in. I ride downtown Boston so it was tough at first to get a smooth take off from a red light. It just takes time to get used to. Or you can track strand if you got the skills. If you ride in the city and you must have clipless you may want to get a pair of MTB pedals for the ease of ingress / egress.

These pedals work really well. I had never ridden with clipless pedals, but after installing these, found them very easy to learn on (I had to practice a bit though). Once you get the hang of it, it is simple to clip in and out. On power, my feet feel very secure and on high cadence, the float helps reduce any knee strain. Also they feel very smooth and the bearings and materials seem to be of good quality.
